Ambitions of an Average Ultra Runner Welcome to our very first Blog Post! A quick post while I'm at work - Hi honey! I hope you're OK with this blog idea, if not - it's not the worst thing I've dragged you into! The ambition of this blog is to record our story. We are a married couple that run average paces over average distances. But this year, in 2019, we are doing something special! For Christmas, I surprised my Wife with an awesome gift. I signed us up for two Ultra marathon races - a 50k and a 50-miler. We've never attempted to run more than 27.5 miles in a single go. I am nervous and excited! This is our story. Enjoy! - JC
